This place is simply amazing! Coffee is a necessity and hard to find on the Island because of Covid. Get in early because it gets very very busy as 8-9am rolls around. Cinnamon rolls are to die for.

A must-stop if you're on Dauphin Island. Everything is so delicious. Make sure you try the breakfast casserole if you're there on a Saturday morning.

We stopped by here for breakfast while on vacation. Since we only ordered pastry that was on display, we were served very quickly. The cinnamon rolls and turnovers were huge and very tasty. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It doesn't matter how long we are on the island, we eat here every single morning! There is nothing here that will disappoint you.

Absolutely lovely, best bakery I've been to ever, the cinnamon rolls are to die for. They have a long wait however so ordering in advance or very early in the morning is the way to go. We also tried the cream cheese brownies which were absolutely amazing! We stopped in around lunch time so we decided on sandwiches (with handmade bread!) which were so great, we all loved what we got and needless to say it filled us up perfectly. If you're nearby and looking for something great to eat definitely need to stop by!!

We like to get their bags of assorted baked goodies for our large family breakfast. But you have to be there early to get them. They are a really popular item. Great place!

Amazing food!! We ordered lunch sandwiches to-go, the homemade buns were delicious!! All the workers (and customers except one) were wearing masks and following cdc guidelines.

The food and drinks are all delicious and the owner is so sweet and friendly!

I go to this bakery every year I come to dauphin island, and the food is always great. But this year is different with corona and the precautions businesses need to take. The lighthouse bakery was not following any corona guidelines, they had over max capacity in their building, no one was wearing masks, and even the workers were not wearing masks. They did not enforce the six feet apart rule and it was overall not a safe environment.

The pastries are fresh and delicious. A very popular spot for locals. The line can be quite long. The breakfast egg and sausage muffin thing should be heated up prior to giving to customers. Because the line backs up, you place your order and wait for them to bring it, boxed and ready. Be sure to check your order. Ours was partially correct and we had already left before we caught the error. I still say stop in and give it a try. Just don't look closely at some of the shelves outside of the kitchen (drink cooler) as a heavy hand and bleach will be needed there. It is still a cute place with a good product.

Always go here when I'm down on the island. They have the very best iced pecan cinnamon buns. And if you are there on a Sunday grab some of the cheese pig in a blankets! They are so very good. Make sure to get extra they are great snacking all day.

Better get there early, and when you do be prepared to wait in line. PSSSST its worth it.

The only bakery I will go out of my way to go to! If you're on the island I recommend stopping in for something, whether it's a sweet tooth or a bacon bread stick this is the place to go!

Service was great and food was delicious. What more could you want? Went there for morning pastries and couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended.

A sweet little place to eat. The chicken salad sandwich was good as well as the French onion soup. My favorite part was the pecan cinnamon roll. The staff is very friendly. Awesome place to eat some lunch.

Lighthouse Bakery is a much-loved part of every trip to Dauphin Island! The fresh baked goods are delicious and unique, and island morning is complete without a Lighthouse pastry! Our favorites are the cheese danishes, although everything is fantastic! Get there early, especially during the summer. Or you'll be stuck in line - or worse, miss out!

Service was great and the food was delicious...seating is limited due to it being in an older house, bit it's worth the wait...my wife loved the omelet with crabmeat and veggies (available only on Sundays) and I had a great tasting caramel and almond cinnamon roll...the bacon wrapped twist was also a favorite among our kids...

So yummy! That cinnamon roll? To die for! The hoagie rolls were perfect with the smoked turkey and cheddar! Wonderful choice before hitting the beach!!!

It was my 1st time at the bakery. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They made the experience much more enjoyable and they made the atmosphere much more pleasing and fun.

Very comfortable place. The owners were very helpful, and even offered to drive my friend and I out to our aircraft at the airfield.

Staying on Dauphin Island? You really have to go to the Lighthouse Bakery at least once - and Sunday is a really good day to do that! They serve freshly made omelets from 9am to 1pm. We ordered the small and it was huge and delicious. We have had the French bread, which is available after noon on Saturday, the cream cheese Danish, the pecan cinnamon rolls - all freshly baked and yummy. They are open Wednesday through Sunday.

I really enjoy coming here, superb service, I like the tea variety, plenty of cosy seating, beautiful art on the walls( gor sale), also seating on the beautiful appointed front deck.No parking shortage in a shade in the hot summer. There is a nice park across the street with amazing oak trees.

We stumbled upon this quaint little bakery by chance. After having the absolutely best sandwich we just had to go back in for coffee and dessert. My kids had cookies and my husband and I shared the blueberry cheesecake goodness. It was quite possibly the best danish I’ve ever had. Y’all! It’s all homemade and absolutely wonderful! The service was outstanding. The young lady who took our order was very patient with us and made several yummy suggestions as we couldn’t make up our minds what we wanted... it all looked so amazing! We definitely will be back the next time we’re in town!

Very homey and cute bakery. We visited here 3 times on our trip, and it was a great experience each time. The food is amazing and the staff are very kind.

Always delicious food whether a lunch sandwich or breakfast cinnamon roll. Wonderful owners with great service. Went around 1:30 for lunch, slow on traffic but filled up quickly.

Our family had a vacation at Dauphin Island and I found this bakery on google. SUCH a loving-a- homelike feel. The ladies were amazing and the food was even more amazing!!

Stand in line for the wait, its worth it. Fresh crab meat omelet was sooo good. Pastries are delicious, very clean. A must stop when on the island.

Worth the drive from anywhere... such a special place, the ambiance, staff, and bakery items are perfection!! We love driving to the island, getting breakfast at The Lighthouse, then catching the Ferry to the Gulf... you MUST try the original cheese Danish and the bacon twists.. yummms
